You see her on Instagram with the apartment you want.

You scroll past a Black girl on TikTok living the “soft life” aesthetic, and suddenly your own life feels like scraps.

And before you know it, you’re drowning in comparison.

Sis — comparison is killing you.

It’s killing your joy.

It’s killing your gratitude.

It’s killing your ability to see your own growth.

What nobody tells you is: comparison is a thief, but jealousy is a teacher.

When you feel that sting of envy, it’s not proof you’re bitter. It’s proof of desire. It’s showing you what you secretly want.

The problem is not wanting what she has. The problem is believing you can’t create your own version.

Her blessing is not your competition.

Her timing is not your delay.

Her journey is not your blueprint.

You have your own lane. Your own divine timing. Your own unfolding.
